No. Billing, expenses and reports work fully offline. Internet is needed once to activate a licence, and later for app updates and the demo video.
No. Open the link in Chrome or Safari and choose Add to Home Screen. It gets its own icon and opens full-screen like a normal app, on Android, iPhone and Windows.
On your own phone, and, if you switch on Cloud backup, as an encrypted copy on IBI's servers that only your 16-character backup code can open. IBI cannot read it. Lose or reset the phone, install the app on a new one, type the code, and your menu, bills and expenses are back. The app backs up once a day on its own when online.
To you, directly. The QR on every bill carries your own UPI ID. IBI is never in the middle of your customer payments.
Billing pauses after a three-day grace period. Your data, orders and reports remain fully accessible — we never hold your data hostage. Renew from inside the app to continue.
One licence covers one shop on one device. For a second counter or a second branch, take a second licence. Multi-device sync is on our roadmap.
Yes, in the way each shop needs. Unregistered shops keep plain bills. A composition-scheme shop gets a Bill of Supply with its GSTIN and the required declaration, and never charges GST. A regular-scheme shop gets a Tax Invoice with CGST and SGST split at 5%, a financial-year invoice serial, optional FSSAI number, and GST collected shown in the reports and CSV. Set it once under Shop Settings.
Bills are shared on WhatsApp or the phone's share sheet. Thermal printer support is planned; tell us on WhatsApp if you need it and we will prioritise it.
